NIGHT 26:
Friday 8/28 Tri City Raceway Park - 21 cars signed in.. Pill draw started P3 in heat and finished there. Redraw P5 for feature. Biked it twice dropping back a few each time but managed a P8 finish. Pretty happy with the finish with a track we struggled with and the track was pretty rough and unusually fast. We put the car away "mostly" in one piece with more sheet metal work to do then most fender car guys after a race night.
NIGHT 27:
Saturday 8/29 Sharon Speedway for my first ever race with the All Star Circuit of Champions :- A stout 35 cars signed in so we knew it was an uphill battle from the beginning. . Qualified absolutely terrible 16/17 in my group, 34 of 35 overall so it made it a steep mountain to climb. So Josh, Chubbs and Steve threw the book at set up changes. Heat race went P9 to P7, Started P7 in B main. The car was dialed in! I was able to get up to 2nd very quickly and on a restart took the lead, winning it by over 4 seconds. The feature is where the car really shined. I started P21 and was up to P13 when I got tangled into a car that hit the wall and flipped, collecting another car which caused me to flip as well. With some of our "local" race friends, (Thank you Louie, Luke and others!) We got the car back together in the "hot pit" work zone in just over 4 minutes (even after having to run to the trailer to get a new top wing). I pushed back out just in time to restart P23. I went up 10 spots and was really on rails until the turn 4 wall bit the RR giving me a flat with 9 to go, so I pulled in the infield. Scored P22 but that really doesn't tell the story. The real story is how great the car felt after the adjustments made after poorly qualifying. Overall I passed 25 cars in the heat, B Main and feature racing.

We aren't sure what is next for the 3J team. Next weekend is Labor Day, There is local racing, chase to race racing, or maybe a weekend off for the team. That is yet to be determined.
Looking forward we will be at the Commonwealth Clash at Lernerville Speedway 9/11-12 for sure. Anything after that is pretty much a chase to race, where we might try to make a trip to a new track or 2, still not sure.

ISO a few used SC12 LRs. And a MED RR. The Closer to Western PA The better, but Ohio is fine, as we have a hammer sitting in Freemont to pick up….

Race Night #26 of 2026
✅Friday Mercer: Started the night off rushing around and so did everyone else, pills got switched around and my 31 pill sent me 3rd for qualifying 🤷‍♂️. Couldn’t tell you what my time even was so we were going into the heat race pretty blind but started pole, we’d pace in the lead for a lap or two eventually moving around lines to find a little more getting passed by two cars and ending 3rd (final redraw) feature lined up 8th and kinda stayed just in the top ten for about 3/4 of the race when I finally decided to just throw the wing back and car came alive bringing it back to 7th. Starting to feel better and better here in the 410.
