💥 Vince C with the BIG FLY home run! 💥

The 12U Cardinals picked up a win over the Maryland O’s Black 13-3, powered by a three-run home run from Vince to right field in the first inning that rolled all the way across the private drive to the corn field at CME. 🌽

The Cardinals collected 9 hits on the day, including a triple from Tanner E and Wyatt B went 3 for 3 at the plate. Defensively, their pitchers racked up 11 strikeouts, the defense executed a pickoff at second, and the team made a pop-fly tag out to complete a double play.

A great all-around showing from the Cardinals 12U! ❤️💙🩵

⚾ Meet the Coach Monday (on a Tuesday)! ⚾

This week we’re excited to spotlight Coach Jack Ko, our newest 13U Carroll Manor Cardinals assistant coach! For the past few seasons he's been the team's resident "GameChanger Dad" and has stepped in to help wherever needed so we're excited to see him in this new "official" role.

📍Hometown: Lexington, Massachusetts
⏳Coaching experience: My previous experience is just teaching my son the fundamentals of the game 😂
💬Favorite part of coaching: Taking more active role with the team than just helping here and there as before. We have a great group of kids and parents and I look forward to contributing what I can to continue to make this a team the kids want to be a part of.
⚾Favorite MLB Team: The Boston Red Sox
⭐Fun Fact: Climbed Mt. Kilamanjaro with my wife before having our son, Zach.

Great start to the season for our 11U team! They played well all weekend — a couple of tough losses, but a lot to be proud of.
