do it out of love, not shame
change your relationship with discipline by shifting your perspective
instead of “I have to eat healthy & workout”
try “I get to take care of my mind & body with proper fuel & movement”
once you realize that your body is truly your forever home & it deserves the best possible treatment… you will love on yourself a helluva lot more & disciplined action will be a byproduct

The quality of your life is made up by the quality of your thoughts.
The human brain likes efficiency, not accuracy. By continually telling yourself that something is true, you are creating a belief..
If you think that you are going to fail, that you’re not good enough, that you’re not beautiful or smart or worthy.. then that will be your reality.
You will prove yourself right. You will act in alignment with your false beliefs so that you don’t bruise your ego.
but what if you dropped your ego & questioned your beliefs?
What if you chose to change the narrative?
Perspective is everything, and this is why I focus so heavily on mindset shifts as a coach & in my personal life.
I challenge you to think like the person that you want to be. Tell yourself something new, even if you don’t believe it at first.
You will feel resistance. Changing your thought patterns is not easy, but it is the key to living the life you dream of

Coming out of a deficit can be tough..
I was extremely disciplined with fitness & nutrition during my cut (which lasted almost 4 months 😵💫) Towards the end of this dieting phase I had no clear goal in sight & zero motivation.
What I wanted was more food freedom & a mental break.
I think the last couple weeks have been a much needed reset for my brain & body.. but when does a “break” last too long?
When you let go of the healthy habits that you’ve built up, it can be really easy to lose the progress you’ve made.
Going from one extreme to the other is how people get stuck in a constant cycle of losing & gaining weight, having to start all over again & again
So please don’t go into f it mode after a dieting phase. Be patient & take the time to properly bring up your calories and rebuild your metabolism.
You will thank yourself later!!
