Down 4 with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th inning and an 8 game winning streak on the line the Phillies needed to lock in.
Bryce Harper started the inning with a double giving the Phillies a little life. After two quick outs J.T. Realmuto kept the inning alive with a 2 out single,
and Justin Crawford worked a walk to load the bases. All of a sudden the scene was starting to set.
Edmundo Sosa delivered one of the biggest swings of the game ripping a two strike pitch down the third base line to clear the bases for a double that cut the deficit to 4-3. Bryan De La Cruz followed with another big hit an RBI single that drove in Edmundo from second and tied the game. Erasing a four run deficit, unbelievable.
Schwarber fell behind 2-2 before getting another 98 mph sinker from Riley O’Brien and He didn’t miss it, Schwarber obliterated a towering 459 foot walk off two-run NUKE over the batter’s eye into Ashburn Alley completing one of the wildest comebacks of the season.
