Phillies bounce back in game two behind and Cristopher Sanchez had a much better outing the previous limiting his runs and walks while striking out 7. He did allow 10 hits but the tigers were unable to capitalize going 0-6 with RISP.

Trea Turner, JT Realmuto and Derek Hill all drove in runs today for the Phil’s, Harper and Stott both had multi hit games.

Aaron Nola gave the Phillies 5 solid innings tonight keeping the Phils in the ballgame but the bullpen struggled heavily again tonight on the road, Tim Mayza allowed 5 runs to score in the 6th and Max Lazar gave up 2 homeruns.

Offensively the Phillies couldn’t put anything together against Jack Flaherty besides Derek Hill who had 3 of the Phillies 4 hits tonight.

Cristopher Sanchez is on the bump tomorrow looking to bounce back from his previous outing.
