One of the most special things about the Farley Open has never just been what we do today. It’s knowing that this tradition of helping families is being passed down to the next generation.
These kids are growing up hearing about the Farley Open, seeing what this event means, watching families come together, and learning that when someone in our community needs help, we show up.

☘️ WE HAVE A WONDERFUL UPDATE ABOUT OUR 2026 FARLEY OPEN BENEFICIARY, WESLEY MILLER! ☘️
After several difficult days of waiting, Wesley’s family received encouraging news from his latest MRI. Please see the message below from Wesley’s parents:

“It’s been a long few days waiting for official MRI results, and today we finally got positive news. ☘️
Wesley’s first MRI since starting his outpatient protocol brought some very encouraging results.
✨ There is no evidence that his brain tumor has returned.
✨ His brain continues to heal well from surgery with no new concerning findings.
✨ His spine MRI showed no evidence of cancer spread, and the tiny abnormalities that had previously been seen are no longer visible. His team will continue to watch everything closely with future scans, but this is an incredible step in the right direction.
✨ Other postoperative changes, including the bleeding, fluid collections, and enlarged ventricles, are all stable or improving.
While Wesley’s journey is far from over, today gave us lots of encouragement and hope. We know there are still many treatments, appointments, and scans ahead, but we’re so thankful that everything is moving in the right direction.”

☘️ THE FARLEY OPEN IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE OUR 2026 FARLEY OPEN RECIPIENT! ☘️
It is with tremendous pride and emotion that we announce the fundraising recipient for the 46th Annual Farley Open:
💚 THE MILLER FAMILY AND THEIR COURAGEOUS FOUR-YEAR-OLD SON, WESLEY MILLER 💚
For 46 years, the Farley Open has brought family, friends, and our community together to support children and families facing unimaginable medical and financial challenges.
Through the incredible generosity of this community, we are proud to have raised more than $525,000 for deserving families—and this year, we are honored to stand beside Wesley and the entire Miller family.
Wesley is the bright, loving, and determined son of Nate and Erin Miller and the brother of Maggie and baby Sam.
In the fall of 2025, Wesley began experiencing worsening balance issues and repeated falls. On September 29, an MRI revealed a brain tumor slightly larger than a golf ball near his cerebellum and brainstem.
Wesley underwent an approximately eight-hour surgery and was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, an aggressive form of childhood brain cancer. Following surgery, he developed Posterior Fossa Syndrome, creating additional challenges that have required extensive rehabilitation, therapy, and ongoing medical care.
Since his diagnosis, Wesley has spent nearly 250 days receiving inpatient care.
The Miller family relocated from Reading to Philadelphia to remain close to the lifesaving care Wesley receives at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Erin left her career as a school counselor to become Wesley’s full-time caregiver, while Nate continues working as a dean of students in Lancaster and managing a demanding commute.
Despite everything he has faced, Wesley remains a loving, funny, and courageous little boy. His close relationship with Maggie and the joy brought by baby Sam continue to surround the Miller family with love during this incredibly difficult journey.
