More than a lacrosse season. 🌍

When Colin Socker moved to England after graduating from Seton Hill University, he wasn’t just continuing his lacrosse career — he was starting a new chapter.

Between playing and coaching lacrosse for Rochdale Lacrosse Club, earning his master’s degree at Durham University, and traveling across Europe, Colin experienced everything that makes playing overseas unique.

From weekday and weekend league matches in England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 to attending one of the biggest box lacrosse tournaments in the world in Prague🇨🇿 with a London-based team, every week brought a new opportunity.

Reflecting on his time playing in Prague, Colin shared:

“Getting to play at that tournament was an unreal experience. But more importantly, the people I met were even greater. Great athletes and great people made the experience so much more special. Getting to know them on and, more importantly, off the field made it something I’ll remember forever.”

Your lacrosse career doesn’t have to end after college.

It can take you places you never imagined.

After graduating from Seton Hill University, Colin wasn’t ready for his lacrosse journey to end.

Instead, he took the next step—moving to England to play, coach, and earn his master’s degree at Durham University.

Alongside playing for Durham University, Colin also competed for Rochdale Lacrosse Club in the North of England Men’s Lacrosse Association league.

One year later, Colin leaves with new experiences, lifelong friendships, and a degree from one of England’s top universities.

Returning to where it all started. 🇦🇺🥍

During his recent visit to Adelaide, LTW Founder Matt Ramsey returned to his former Australian club, East Torrens Payneham Lacrosse Club, and caught up with the fantastic families who make ETP so special.

Matt enjoyed reconnecting with former teammates while meeting current players, coaches, and club members. ETP continues to showcase the global nature of lacrosse, with players from NCAA Division II Wilmington University, NCAA Division III RIT, and New Zealand representing the club during the 2026 season. Best of luck to ETP for the rest of the season!

Great people, great lacrosse, and great memories.

LTW Down Under 🇦🇺🥍

At the end of May, LTW Founder Matt Ramsey traveled to Adelaide, South Australia, and had the opportunity to catch up with one of our LTW athletes, Ethan, during his Australian lacrosse experience.

One of the highlights of the trip was watching Ethan suit up for Sturt Lacrosse Club in a State League matchup against Matt’s former club, East Torrens Payneham Redwings.

It was a fantastic day of lacrosse and a great reminder of what makes our sport so special—bringing people together from different parts of the world through a shared passion for the game.

We’re proud to see Ethan embracing the opportunity to play and coach abroad, and we look forward to following the rest of his season with Sturt.

How did Cece end up coaching lacrosse in Portugal after college? 🇵🇹

Through Lacrosse The World’s England Lacrosse Pro Program.

While participating in the program, Cece had the opportunity to coach the University England Aspire Team in Lisbon, Portugal—an experience that combined international travel, coaching, competition, and cultural immersion.

Between exploring new cities, competing at a high level, and building lifelong friendships, experiences like these are what make being a part of Lacrosse The World so special.

Now, Lacrosse The World is accepting applications for our England Lacrosse Pro Program beginning this September. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

We’re seeking former collegiate lacrosse players who are eager to continue competing, gain international experience, and help grow the game abroad.

Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.

LTW family, meet Ethan! 🇦🇺🥍

Ethan hails from St. Augustine, Florida, and played his collegiate lacrosse at Division II Flagler Men’s Lacrosse under Coach Brian Duncan, who has led the program since 2016 and helped build the Saints into one of the nation’s top-ranked Division II programs.

Ethan arrived in Adelaide, South Australia, at the end of April, where he is playing and coaching with Sturt Lacrosse Club in the South Australian Men’s State League.

We’re excited to have Ethan as part of the LTW family and can’t wait to follow his journey with Sturt this season.

Wishing Ethan and the Sturt Lacrosse Club all the best for a great season!
