Match Report: Legends 1-1 SMK FC

In an exciting season opener, the Legends were forced to a 1-1 tie by a resolute SMK side at the Monsignor Bonner High School Stadium in Drexel Hill, PA.

The Legends started the game well, holding onto possession in the first 15 minutes before going ahead in the 20th minute.

A through pass from Ebere Goodluck to Tashiki Alex Sonpon saw the striker do the “Bergkamp” against his marker before slotting the ball at the back of the net.

After conceding, SMK reacted right away by pressuring the Legends and that paid off in the 35th when their striker beat the offside trap and equalized for his side.

The Legends are pleased to announced their full 10-game schedule for the upcoming Casa Soccer League - Primera Division season, beginning this Saturday, March 20th against SMK at 1:30pm.

All the Legends’ games will be played at the Monsignor Bonner High School Stadium in Lansdowne, PA except for the two games against YTP on 3/27 (Cristos Rey High School) and Real Vidas on 4/3 (Upper Darby High School).

Admission absolutely free but all fans are asked to wear 😷 at all times
