Our first instinct when we try to influence others is usually to start talking about our opinion. The most effective way to help others change their opinions and behaviors is often to listen using a motivational interviewing approach per Adam Grant, organizational psychologist and University of Penn professor as told in his latest book which I highly recommend!

The CEO of WeWork thinks there is an easy way for companies to spot their most engaged employees: "They’re the ones who want to come back to the office." As we transition to a post-pandemic work environment, there will be internal debates about the benefits and costs of requiring employees to work from the office.
