Dear Universe ✨

The gratitude I feel in the afterglow of the Berkshire Yoga Festival is truly unlike anything I’ve ever felt before. It’s truly amazing how the path, my path keeps revealing itself and opening up, gifting me with clarity and reassurance that I’m going the right direction. I’m not sure it’s ever been so clear, and for that I am eternally grateful. Clarity is something I’ve often prayed for, set my intention for at the beginning of practice all these years. Way back in 2010 in my first ever yoga classes, crying in savasana, realizing this is where I was supposed to be. I had a lucid dream hanging upside down during my 200 hr training with in the French Alps back in 2019 about becoming a yoga teacher one day and feeling the best I’ve ever felt, mind body and spirit. I was soaring over the flower fields, my spirit flying.

In April while on my 300 hour training YANDARA YOGA I left a voice note for a friend and announced that I was getting married… to yoga! Because for the first time in my life, I felt a full bodied YES.

This past weekend at the Berkshire Yoga Festival just solidified and validated all those moments leading me to this point. Leading me to this practice and the love I have in sharing it joyfully and with my whole heart and soul. Teaching at my first yoga festival, and of all places to start, of of the most loving, kind, encouraging and uplifting groups of people I have ever encountered (and I’ve been going to yoga festivals all over the world for over 10 years) - this one is REALLy special. Andrew Tanner and Scott also put their whole heart and soul into it, and you can tell. It’s not corporate, it’s from the heart and really well done. And it’s absolutely beautiful in the Berkshire mountains. I am so grateful for this gift in my life, & the clarity I have in knowing it’s for me. The world needs this medicine and this light to shine brightly. There is a reason things have magically aligned along your path, it’s all part of the plan.

I truly believe this is the most important work I could possibly be doing; and I am so grateful that my life has lead me here. Thank you to everyone out there, my happy heart thanks you all, forever.

Teaching the opening class Berkshire Yoga Festival was a dream come true- my first time teaching at a festival and the energy was SO good!! I have the most amazing Philly crew with me, beyond grateful for their support and friendship to journey up to these beautiful mountains for the weekend with me to represent Philly River Flow Yoga

My class: Bright Light Vinyasa Flow: Community and Connection lived up to its name… and hopefully everyone walked away feeling more connected and part of this beautiful, global, universal yoga community. The magic medicine that brings us together in so many amazing ways.

To all the new students I met, thank you so much for coming! I hope we get to practice together again soon, here at the festival or out there in the world. Come to Philly!!! I would truly love to see you. ❤️

Friendship reunions that include adorable babies are the best kind. 🫶❤️

After teaching a morning yoga class to a group of opera singers through I found myself in Northern Liberties; and driving by my good friend .life.style3 studio

It was a beautiful reunion that included a studio tour and a VERY cute baby. Unprompted baby smiles really are medicine for the soul.

Check out - Dave is an amazing teacher and brings a whole new flavor to yoga I’m positive you have never experienced before. It’s a style that is so uniquely true to him, you have to experience it yourself. It’s a soul-lifting, smile inducing, playful connected flow that has always been one of my favs.

Great to see you and the fam my friend. 🫶

What does “hot yoga fusion mean?”

I’m not entirely sure, but I think it’s a combination of yoga styles from different teachers in a heated space.

I’ll tell you about the classes that I teach at this lovely little studio in my beloved West Philly. ❤️

Sometimes it’s slow; sometimes it’s fast. Often it’s both. The classes are designed to take you on a journey, and have an experience. There is a beginning, middle and end. The music is always dialed in so the vibes are on point. We always flow and we always sweat. We come often and we get to know each other. There is progression, there is change, there are introductions to new poses and playtime with arm balances and inversions often. It’s open and inviting, all levels welcome, with the awareness that advanced options are offered and you get to decide your participation level. Rest whenever you want, listen to your body. Zero judgement zone, zero ego zone. It’s West Philly ya’ll. It’s your time. It’s a place where we can truly drop in, connect with our breath and bodies and let the noise of life stay outside the studio walls. It’s a time just for you, to be with yourself, to drop in a little deeper, and let the breath and asana poses take you somewhere that you’d like to keep returning to.

It’s intuitive movement. We do it together, I teach from the mat and take the class with you. We are in it together, the whole time. We move together. We grow together, we flow together.

I teach Vinyasa Flow. So it’s a playful dance through space and time. It’s a moving meditation. It’s freedom.
