Rajon Rondo thinks the NBA should be ready for a very different Jaylen Brown next season.

Because according to Rondo, Brown has plenty to be angry about.

Last season, Brown stepped into the biggest role of his career after Boston lost Jayson Tatum to injury and several key veterans in the offseason. He responded with career highs across the board and helped the Celtics finish second in the East.

Then Boston got eliminated in the first round.

And this summer, they traded him to Phily.

Now JB gets to play alongside LeBron James, Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey while entering the season with something he hasn't always had to this degree:

Something to prove.

Rondo believes that combination could be dangerous.

"He got so much to prove. Come on, man. It's gonna be scary for the league."

Brown has already won a championship and made five All-Star teams.

Now he's heading into a new situation with another chance to show exactly what Boston gave up.

A pissed-off Jaylen Brown might be a problem.

Rajon Rondo is already buying into the Philadelphia 76ers 👀

“I think it’s the personalities in the locker room that make a big difference. LeBron is at a point in his career where being around the right personalities matters just as much as the talent.

He wants teammates he can genuinely enjoy being around, have fun with, and build real chemistry with.”

Rondo said on the Road Trippin’ podcast, per Nico Martinez of Fadeaway World.

And when it comes to Philly’s title chances? Rondo is going all in early: “If you give him these types of pieces to play with, you know, I’m an early bet with them being the favorites to win.

You know, and my, and my book, I’m not a bettor, but if I were to bet, I would bet the Sixers early.”
