The stoic Jalen Hurts is taking a backseat! 😎🦅
Vibes are at an ALL-TIME high on Day One of Eagles training camp, and QB1 is leading the charge. Usually known for being ultra-serious at the podium, Hurts showed up loose, direct, and gave us one of the funniest moments in recent camp history.
Here is how it went down:
Hurts’ wife, Bree, snuck a $5 bill in his backpack as a little inside joke before camp.
When Hurts ran into Jalen Carter—who just signed a massive contract extension—he took the cash, slapped it right on Carter’s chest, and said: “Let me put five on top of that!” 💵😂
JC loved it, joking that if Hurts signed the $5 bill, it would suddenly be worth $500!
People try to push the narrative that Hurts is too stoic or a bad teammate, but he is out here having fun with the guys, cracking jokes with the media, and leading this team. The offense looks great and Carter got paid.

Day 1 of Eagles Training Camp is officially in the books! 🦅🏈 Here is the rundown of what stood out:
🔥 On Offense:
A Whole New Look: Jalen Hurts is spending a lot more time under center with heavy play-action.
Pre-Snap Movement: Lots of motion going on with Makai Lemon, Dontavian Wicks, and the rest of the receivers.
Attacking the Middle: Hurts was slinging it over the middle of the field all day. Both he and Devontae Smith hyped up the receiver room, saying they are super diverse, can do it all, and complement each other perfectly. 👐
