🔥 BFL Tournament Recap – Kerr Lake (Shenandoah Division Stop #1) 🔥

We rolled into Kerr Lake feeling good after a solid pre-fish bite. We were catching quality spotted bass off rock points dragging a 3/8oz green pumpkin jig with a (Southern Craw Color) Reaper Craw trailer and chunk trailer

Then tournament day hit…

💨 North wind.
📉 Falling temps.

That pattern? DEAD.

Instead of forcing it, we made a move into protected water and picked up the flipping sticks—targeting docks and shallow wood.

And that’s when things changed 👇

🪱 The 4-TEN Baits Renegade Bug (Southern Craw) NEVER left my hand.

It flat out outperformed everything else on the deck and helped us:
✅ Lock in a limit
⚖️ 10 lbs 14 oz
🏁 Finish 35th out of 75 boats

Not the win—but for our first BFL, we’ll take it all day.

💡 Biggest takeaway: When conditions change, the fish will tell you what to do… you just have to listen.

And this time, they wanted the Bug.
