The puppy palace is expanding. The puppies are learning that there’s always a place they’d rather be.

I wish that I could freeze this time.

The puppies got to spend some time in open spaces and meet their new buddies. Three weeks and three days.

Puppies are three weeks old and a couple of days. Soon they will be out of the Whelping Box and into a puppy pen. I think the moms are ready. The canine teeth have come through and they are less excited about nursing.

People always ask me if it’s hard to let the puppies go to their new homes. I know it’s time for each puppy to have their own family an individual , so that part is not hard. The hardest part is separating them from their siblings. It breaks my heart.

I have so many people that have an expertise in their field for making this possible. You can’t imagine the precision involved in inseminating two girls from the same boy on the same day. I have to thank Dr. Andrea Hesser at Livewell Animal Hospital of McKinney for that big miracle and big thanks to helping bring these litters to fruition by Dr. Stacey Curl. We really need these reproduction specialist to continue improving our breed. And of course, our lovely baby daddy, Winston. Cheers all 🍾🥂
