Tonight the Varsity tackle football team had their first team dinner. Pasta and meatballs with salad, garlic bread and mini cheesecakes. Tonight’s dinner was sponsored by Parents for Mahar Students Group. Thank you!!!

Opening day is almost here!!! Come on out Saturday at noon to support our Mahar Senators tackle football players as they take on Smith Vocational in our 2026 season opener!

The Senators travel to Murdock tomorrow afternoon in Winchendon for a 3:30pm start. The season scrimmage is a great opportunity to see how this team is coming together with live action.

Scrimmages are played in different format than a regular game, and is the perfect setup for game speed learning while allowing coaching after every snap!

The Mahar Senators Touchdown Committee Annual Meat Raffle is coming up, and we want our community there! ❤️💙

📍 American Legion, Orange, MA

Get ready for a fun night featuring meat rounds, raffle baskets, 50/50, and plenty of chances to win! 🥩🍗🦃

🍻 Cash Bar — CASH ONLY, NO CARDS

Most importantly, all proceeds go directly to the Senators Touchdown Committee, benefiting the Mahar Tackle Football Program.

The Touchdown Committee works throughout the year to support our players by providing team dinners, the football banquet, senior activities and gifts, and, in the future, scholarships for football players continuing their journey in college. 🏈🎓

The wait is over! Practice is tomorrow, August 25th at 3:30 PM at Ralph C. Mahar Regional School.

And most importantly — IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO SIGN UP!

If your child has been thinking about playing football, we’d love to have them come out and be part of the team. No experience is necessary. Our goal is to teach the game while building teamwork, discipline, confidence, and pride in representing Mahar.
