The host will be live streaming. We are trying to get the details and will share when we get those. It will also be discussed at the banquet on Friday.

The host has a professional Photographer for the event as well.

All athletes are requested to be on the field by 8am Saturday. Press and the Mayor will be there to meet and talk to people.

Everybody wants to know, how do you earn an invite to the LW world championships? Here’s the breakdown! There is still some time to claw your way to the top before the 2026 eligibility window closes. Initial invites will be sent by the end of the weekend of 8/15, so if you have any last-minute scores that would push you into the running be sure to contact us about them. Minimum marks is a new thing to help us ensure that the athletes taking the stage at the world championships are up to the challenge of competing on the big stage. If you have trouble throwing all 7 of these marks in a season we recommend throwing more games as a LW or training up to earn your invite. We want to see you do it! The official competitor list for the Masters World Championship 2026 Driewegen has been finalized!

We are incredibly moved by the overwhelming interest from athletes seeking to fill spots following recent withdrawals. However, no further invitations will be extended.

This policy ensures that every athlete competing at the 2026 Masters World Championship is ranked among the world's elite. The Board of Directors maintains that backfilling divisions with less-qualified athletes or awarding spots based on geographic proximity would compromise the prestige and integrity of what it means to compete for a World Championship title.
