What nutrients are critical for bone health and how can I incorporate them into my diet?

“Two of the most important nutrients for bone health are calcium and vitamin D. Our bones are in a constant state of building, breaking down and rebuilding, and since calcium is the primary nutrient needed during the rebuilding process, calcium-rich dairy products, soybeans and green leafy vegetables are great for helping maintain strong, healthy bones. And vitamin D helps our bodies absorb the calcium we get from food, so boost your vitamin D with fatty cold-water fish (like salmon or tuna) as well as fortified cereals, orange juice and milk.”
