🦁Our 1st DSDU Event of the year is Tuesday, September 29th @ 6:00pm!
We will be participating in the Durant Lions Homecoming Parade!🦁We hope All of our Dancers will join us!♥️💙

👑Please meet at the Social Security Office in Durant located at 121 S 12th Street around 6:00pm. ❤️💙
📣Pizza Hut has requested parade participants not park in their lot, so please keep that in mind!

💃🏻Dancers age 5 and under will ride on the decorated trailer, ages 6 and over will walk.
If you would like to pull your Dancer in a wagon.... that is always cute too!!💙❤️

💥We will need Parent volunteers to walk and ride in the parade. Please message us if you plan to participate. If you plan to ride on the trailer, please bring a blanket to sit on.💥

💥Dancers will meet at the Social Security office across from Pizza Hut at 6:00pm! The trailer will line up in the parade at a different location and once the trailer arrives at the Social Security office, dancers and parents can board the trailer or fall in to walk behind the truck and trailer.

❤️💙Dancers will wear their studio performance shirt. It is Blue this year. Parents, please wear a blue or red shirt if you did not purchase a Studio shirt to show support for Durant ISD, if you plan to be in the parade.
Mindi is supposed to pick up the shirts this weekend and they should be handed out in classes on Monday.
🪩All other Dancers can pick up their shirts from the studio on Monday evening or at the studio before the parade between 4:30-5:00 on Tuesday. 💙Cloggers please wear your clogging shoes, all other Dancers please wear tennis shoes.♥️

🌟The parade will end on 1st Street near the Fire Station. The DSDU float will continue to the Taco Casa parking lot for Dancer pick-up. We will wait there for parents. Please meet us there!!
For any parent who rides or walks in the parade and needs a ride back to their car, the trailer will provide a ride back to the Social Security office area following the parade. 💙❤️

💥Please know… No Candy can be thrown during the parade.
