We want to take this opportunity to recognize our individual top performers from both our 11U and 12U Ocala Bulldogs teams at our most recent tournaments where both teams captured the championship! 11U on August 22-23 & 12U on August 15-16.

Bulldog Nation is on fire right now!!!! Last week the 12U Red Team won a championship, this week it was the 11U team’s turn. After what was a challenging 1st day, the 11U Bulldogs came back on Day 2 winning 3 games in a row all the way to a championship victory at the Greater Orlando Baseball Back to the Future Tournament. On day 2 the 11U Bulldogs outscored their opponents 21-5.

12U Ocala Bulldogs Red Team came out as champions in their opening tournament of the Fall Ball season at the Greater Orlando Baseball Central Florida Shootout in Apopka. The Bulldogs had a strong showing going 4-1 on the weekend outscoring their opponents 59-23, including a 24-5 Championship victory! The Bulldogs as a team hit for a team batting average of .448 and slugging percentage of .662. The pitchers over 23 innings produced 25 k’s, 3.652 ERA, 1.739 WHIP, .234 BAA, and only 18 walks. The 12U Bulldogs Red Team will be traveling to Sanford, FL for the Perfect Game Fall Nationals for their next tournament on August 28-30.
