I used to think hitting effortless forehands
is all about “ The racket lag “ ....

So i focused on creating the racket lag,

It started to feel a bit better,
but I’d still hit one great forehand
and then miss a lot more!

still felt like it’s missing something..

The I realized that I was forcing” the Lag “ to happen
instead of letting it happen “ naturally “!

So I started focusing on those 3 things :

1- the preparation/coiling the body:

I started working on keeping my left hand on the racket longer so that helped coiling my upper body ( turning it more than the hips )

2- the set up :

I made sure that I’m loading the legs and really feel that I’m pushing with the legs.

3- the timing:

I started working on the timing of hitting the ball in front of my body at almost the same time.

That’s when everything changed.

Started being more consistent, hitting winners and feel confident in my forehand even under pressure!

If you’ve tried everything from lessons to watching a lot of YouTube videos and still struggling with your forehand,

I can help you!

It’s not because you’re weaker.

It’s not because you need a different racket.

And it’s definitely not because you’re missing one magic tip.

The difference is the kinetic chain.

The pros generate power from the ground up.

Most club players generate power from the shoulder down.

One creates effortless speed.

The other creates effort.

If you need help finding out what’s missing in your forehand,

Most players look at a forehand like this and think:

“I need more racket lag.”
“I need a bigger backswing.”
“I need to swing faster.”

But that’s not what creates a forehand like this.

A world-class forehand is the result of a kinetic chain that works perfectly from the ground up.

The legs load.
The hips rotate.The torso unwinds.
The arm follows.
The racket accelerates.

When just ONE link in that chain is slightly off, everything changes.

❌ Late hip rotation
❌ Poor weight transfer
❌ Incorrect spacing
❌ Tight wrist or arm tension

The result?

Less power.Less spin.Less consistency.

That’s why copying what the arm does rarely works.

The secret is understanding what happens BEFORE the racket reaches the ball.

If your forehand feels stuck, weak, inconsistent, or you’ve been trying to fix it for years without success, it’s usually not one big problem...

It’s a few small details breaking the chain.
