FRC 10021 Guerin Catholic Golden Gears

We won WVRoX!!! The Golden Gears had a blast competing at WVRoX a 26 hour 14 minute endurance robotics competition to close out this summer. After 24 qualification matches we ended ranked 3rd, and were picked up by FIRST Team RUSH 27 the captain of the first alliance, later picking up team 7515 Dark Side Robotics to be our third robot. We had a ton of fun competing together, going undefeated in the tournament, and getting our team's first ever event win!!! We also won the endurance award for having the robot that best handled the competition. A huge thank you to team 2614 MARS for hosting this amazing event, and to all the volunteers who helped make sure this 26 hour 14 minute long event went smoothly.

Lafayette showed what this team is built for. Industrial Design Award winners. A robot that delivers in performance, efficiency, and design. 3rd-place contender heading into the Indiana State District Competition. We earned our spot with every match, every fix, every late night.

Columbus was unreal.

Team 10021 Golden Gears hit the field and delivered, finishing as finalists with Teams FRC 5010 - Fishers Tiger Dynasty Robotics Team and 10434 in the second seed alliance. On top of that, we took home the Team Sustainability Award, a huge achievement for a second-year team.

Then came the moment. 392. A new FIRST Indiana season high score. Proof of what happens when preparation meets ex*****on.

We are not done yet.

Lafayette is next, March 26 to 27. We are coming in with momentum.
