Great day in the garage with both boys today. They went golfing together in the morning then we finished final adjustments on Jamesons car and made the hoa mad by doing some launches in the street. It lays black marks now lol. Jameson had a big smile after the first one and Jaydan did a couple also. Then we got the trailer, put jaydans car in the garage and loaded Jamesons into the trailer. While Jaydan was at work Jameson and I got his car from race ready to completely stripped down for cleaning and checking everything. Then Jaydan helped some also and we got the roll cage cut off. What a day!! I love having both boys helping. Sure miss the garage time with Jameson.

Jameson has been super busy with his sports. He got 2nd in the state of Illinois for middle school at 167lbs. Then decided to try track. He ran the 100, 200, 4x100 , shot and disk. He and his teammates won all but 1 meet and got 2nd in it. The won the conference, and then won the sectional to qualify for state in the 4x100 relay. They didn't do as well as they had hoped but learned how they can change. Jaydan tried and just missed the high school golf team. He has gone golfing almost everyday since and is working hard to get better and make the team next year.

We finally have Jamesons car ready to go. Should be much faster this year as he gets to move up to the 7.90 class and has a new motor. Now to get jaydans car in the garage and do some updates. Get his fan on the car and new wing lights clean the car and check everything.
Oh and it seems he decided to grow so I have to put a new roll cage on the car. Miss being at the track. Tough to get going this year with lots of family stuff happening and fuel prices being so high. We will be out soon regardless

Happy new year everyone. Thank you to all who have helped us in any way the last season. If anyone is in the market for a good jr motor we have 2 for sale. Pure power 3 1/4 for $3500 and a nick woods 3 5/16 for $3000.
Time for a bigger motor for Jameson to step up to 7.90 class this season.

Well, I haven't done a good job of posting here this season at all. We had a new to us car for Jameson this year and fought some "new car blues" mostly due to the crew chief not doing a very good job. We did get it figured out and by the end of the season the car was running great and working well.
Jaydans car was just a rinse and repeat from last year. He drove well the very few times he got to race our car.
To end our season last weekend we took every once of weight we could off of Jamesons car to see how fast it would go. Well it wasn't anything close to what we had hoped lol. Big kid and a heavy car means we will be trying to figure out a new and much bigger motor for next year.
Jaydan drove his dad's car to a win in his last race last weekend. More to come and we will try and get back to posting more often
