My soul was feeling so low today, about too many things. Things of this world that I cannot control. I remembered one of my favorite passages in Matthew 6:26-30. It’s about how the birds never have to worry about food, for the Lord feeds them. And how the lilies are so beautiful, as the Lord clothes them. This song also makes me think of Matthew 14:29-31 where Jesus comes the disciples in a storm and Peter says if it’s really you Lord, have me come to you on the water. Jesus tells him to come and once Peter looks at the waves and feels the wind, he begins to sink. Jesus asks why Peter doubted Him. If we keep our eyes on Jesus, even in our trials, that He never promised would be easy, He is always with us. John 16:33 😭🥰 This song helps me lean into Him, and singing is always a strong place of worship for me. I’ve been listening to Phil Wickham’s book Everyday Hallelujah and realizing so many things that we do are worship. We don’t need to be in church with our hands raised. Each thing you do on Earth that furthers the work that God has set you here to do, is worship. Loving and caring for your family, working towards your path in life - a dream, a goal, a career… leading others, giving, kindness, making art, whatever it is. Give it up to the Lord and praise Him, not turning to Him only in the valleys, but also the mountain tops. I love you, Lord my strength. Psalm 18:1 😌🙏

I am following along with The Bible Recap chronological reading plan on the You Version Bible app. There are chapter readings everyday and a recap video after to tie it all together. I have read the entire New Testament and the first two books of the Bible prior to this plan, and jumped around a little, but reading chronologically has opened my eyes so much… in just three weeks my time in the Word has changed so much. I see Jesus in every reading. I am viewing the Bible so different than I did before. My relationship with Jesus has expanded and become so much more beautiful than ever. I love Him so much. 🥲✝️🥹 Thank you Jesus for showing me more of who you are. For helping me learn about You and see You all the time in all things and all ways. I strongly encourage this reading plan to everyone!!

I’ve had a really hard time ever since having my baby. I haven’t experienced hormonal rage before. I’ve had panic attacks and been overstimulated and maybe it was hormonal, but this was completely different. It scared me and started to even affect my child. I knew something had to give. I tried supplements and therapy, tried talking through it with friends, but nothing really set me free from it until I surrendered it to Jesus. He knows what all our pain feels like and He wants to take it all from us. No mortal soul was meant to carry this weight. Alone in our human flesh we are weak. Lean into the strong arms of your Heavenly Father!!!!

I can’t stop listening to this song 🤣🙏 Hallelujah to the Man on the middle cross! He didn’t owe a debt, but He paid it off!! All of Heaven is rejoicing and praising the Lord, and we just need to join in the song.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. He died for all of us, all of our sins, on the cross as a sinless man. I wish I knew this as a child. As a teenager. In my 20s and early 30s. I wish I knew that all the love I was trying to find in the godless, awful world was never ever going to be found here. I felt His presence for the first time when the enemy almost had me. It was December 25th, 2020. Sitting in my car in my sisters driveway. So depressed. So empty so low. I started to think suicidal thoughts and Jesus reached out and grabbed my heart. He wanted my heart all along. He said You are Mine. Trust me, I didn’t obey at first but I already knew from that moment on that He was the answer. From that day on, I lived different. I still had a lot to learn and I still do. But now is different because instead of crying to anyone who would listen about how broken I was, I talk to my shepherd. Because He knows how it feels to have a broken heart. To feel so sad and so broken that you don’t even see the point. He holds all of our tears in a bottle. He collects each and every ounce of sorrow we feel. Turn to Jesus.

Yesterday was a big day. I got baptized 🥹🥰 I was so emotional all day and couldn’t wait to be washed clean 🥲 He broke my chains - I AM FREE!!!

I cried so many tears of Joy yesterday in anticipation for my baptism. Sunday morning and Sunday evening services had me releasing so much heaviness with my church family. My dear sisters laying hands on me as the whole church bowed in prayer. I felt tears fall from my eyes as years and years of suffering and shame fell from me in the purest cleanse of my life. Thank you Jesus.
