Newport Mesa AYSO took over Crack Shack on Friday for the USA vs Australia match! What a fun time!! Thanks to current families for meeting us there, and welcome to the new friends we made along the way. 🇺🇸⚽️

Region 97 will be hosting THREE US Men’s National Team World Cup WATCH PARTIES for the group stage matches:

🎈Friday, June 12 @ 6pm - USMNT vs Paraguay
🤍Friday, June 19 @ 12pm - USMNT vs Australia (note: Juneteenth Holiday)
🔹Thursday, June 25 @ 7pm - USMNT vs Türkiye

Come join us at Crack Shack Costa Mesa for no-host watch parties to cheer on our national team. No RSVP needed, families welcome, & get there early to grab your preferred seat. Crack Shack will have specials and is offering a 10% discount on fries when you mention AYSO. Board Members will also be present to talk about open volunteer roles, share information about fall registration, and have giveaways while supplies last.

Give a high five 👋 to all the refs out there this week volunteering for the Newport Mesa Soccer Classic, aka the battle of the Newport Mesa elementary schools! Many of them are our very own from Region 97, including these two EXTRA players who each assistant refereed three games on Saturday!

Love seeing all our 3rd to 6th graders at the Farm this week for the Newport Mesa Soccer Classic (fka Pilot Cup)! Fall registration is OPEN if you want to continue the fun with classmates and friends in August when we get back to school.
