Apologies for the late post, but it's always a busy time following up the Save Our River Festival, and we always short on words. This festival all started when Dan & Zack learned about the CSO issues facing the Merrimack River, and as two lifelong residents of the Merrimack Valley, they wanted to do something to 1) help financially and 2) spread awareness to the issues.
Friday, September 11, 2026 was our 6th annual fundraiser for the Merrimack River Watershed Council, and the first time that revenue raised exceeded $5000! While the turnout was a little light, the sponsorships from community businesses really anchored us this year, and really made a difference.
Thank you to the 21 businesses that sponsored this year's event. Thank you to the dozens of businesses that donated items to our raffles. Thank you to everyone who showed up, liked, shared or commented on our event posts. We really couldn't pull this off without a supportive community.
We didn't take nearly enough photos (and that is a focus for next year!). If you have some, please dump them in the comments! We would also love recommendations and suggestions for improvement. Feel free to message us!
