Yes, this was literally the entire warm-up, in real time, from being cold —> resting before I started my first work set (not all my warm-ups are this fast - depends on the day and the lift). The amount of time people waste prior to their first set of a given day tends to be directly proportional to how poor their exercise selection/execution and programming are for their current capabilities. There are probably times and places where non-specific warm-ups are appropriate, but in my experience, most of what people think they need (“reset drills”, mobility work, “activation) they really don’t (not to mention that most warm-up stuff I see online is rooted in the fear/shame-based approach that says your body is broken and it needs to be fixed because normal lifting is damaging or something).
