Here's to our first contribution!

We'll be releasing the stories of EOK's founders and contributors over our crowdsourcing campaign, to let you know why all these different people support EOK Unlimited... and think you should too.

Anna, EOK's Operations Director, originally hails from England but for the last ten years has existed as a North American nomad. Her high school years in the heart of Silicon Valley imbued in her a strong entrepreneurial mentality through which all failure is fertile ground for growth, and even Google is failure.

She graduated from Dartmouth in 2014; the gross negligence of the College and the oppression that she witnessed and experienced there developed her passion for social justice. Anna is dedicated to liberation work, but her experiences in the non-profit industrial complex have led her to conclude that the revolution will not be funded, ie. no one will pay her to dismantle the state. In an abrupt turn, she spent eighteen months building direct sales teams, and now, having had 100,000+ people tell her no to her face, she's ready to strike out on the next venture.

She wants to help New York communities invest in their own local businesses, and she's especially excited about supporting women and/or people of color who are business owners. In her spare time she enjoys reading, violent critiques of her poetry, dancing like the Blues Brothers, and going on long walks with the few people she can persuade to join her. She brings her team building and management skills, as well as her enthusiasm for navigating sticky situations, such as occupations of College Presidents' offices, to EOK Unlimited.

She's invested because gentrification is a war we must fight on all fronts. She's invested because she wants to see small, local businesses beat out the national corporations. She's invested because she wants to explore this magnificent little city without completely throwing it to the wolves of the free market.

She hopes that you consider contributing, even if it's only $10, not only because EOK is about to be an awesome product that helps you support local business, but also because you'll get to be one of the first few to try it out...
