In the doubleheader matchup between the league-leading Ridgewood Saints and the formidable New York Beers, fans were treated to a thrilling display of talent and determination.

In the first game, the Saints showed their offensive prowess, dominating with an impressive 8-0 victory. But, it was the second game that brought the most excitement, highlighted by an outstanding pitching performance from the Beers' ace, Ryan Smith. His immaculate control and skill on the mound resulted in a historic moment as he pitched a no-hitter! Smith's stellar performance left the Saints unable to find their rhythm at the plate in a 6-0 Beers victory.

Both teams pick up wins in another split doubleheader that showcased the true essence of baseball – unpredictability and pure excitement. This was a testament to the Beers heart & beer guts.

As the season approaches the end, we hope to see these two powerhouses battling again on the diamond, potentially in the playoffs.

Double Header with the season on the line for the Beers comes up short. Some costly mistakes allows the Marlins to tie Game 1 and come out swinging in Game 2 with the momentum. We’ll see if the Beers can end the season on a high note.
