You can tell WWE is very high on Sol Ruca.

They're positioning her as a fighting Intercontinental Champion, much like Penta, and they're making sure her title defenses are against opponents who can help showcase her strengths. Putting her in there with Lyra Valkyria was a smart move because Lyra is excellent, and it gave Sol another strong performance to add to her resume.

I really like the direction they're taking with her. A champion who consistently defends the title makes the belt feel important. My only hope is that her biggest title defenses start making their way onto PLE's like they did during Becky Lynch's reign.

Based on how WWE has been presenting Sol, I have a feeling that's exactly where this is headed.

RAW kicked off with Oba Femi making it clear that his focus is on winning the King of the Ring Tournament 👑 and eventually challenging Roman Reigns. Dominik Mysterio interrupted, leading to tensions between the two. JD McDonagh attempted to weaken Oba with a steel chair attack 🪑, but Femi shrugged it off and laid out both McDonagh and Dominik 💥.
📅 A King of the Ring semifinal match between Oba Femi and Dominik Mysterio was officially set for next week's RAW.

🎤 Seth Rollins Targets Roman Reigns
Seth Rollins declared that he intends to win the King of the Ring Tournament 👑 and challenge Roman Reigns at SummerSlam ☀️. Rollins promised to reclaim the championship he never lost and restore the World Heavyweight Championship to its rightful place. 🏆

LA Knight accused Roman Reigns of keeping WWE trapped in Bloodline drama because his empire is falling apart 📉.
Jey Uso confronted Knight and warned him ahead of their upcoming Fatal 4-Way Match on SmackDown ⚠️. Knight fired back with more insults toward The Bloodline before Jimmy Uso stepped in to keep things from getting physical 👊.
