Miri - Piri Diwas Celebration & Sikh Veteran’s Day
This commemorative event honors two distinct yet interconnected aspects of Sikh heritage and commitment:

Miri-Piri Diwas: An observance of Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji's vision, symbolizing the equal importance of worldly (political) authority and spiritual authority.

Sikh Veteran’s Day: A tribute to pay reverence to Sikh veterans who served in WWI, WWII, the Battle of Amritsar, and other historical battles for righteousness.

Please join us for this meaningful gathering to honor the wisdom of our Gurus and the sacrifices of our ancestors.

It was amazing to connect with campers, Sangat and entire team of Camp Khoj while giving them brief introduction about Sikh shastar vidhya, Gatka and different Shastars we used in gatka Demonstration. we would like to thanks all Gurdwara management committee-Guru Nanak Darbar Hicksville, Long Island NY and team of Camp Khoj to arrange this event where campers learned valuable lessons about Sikh history, discipline and courage.
