For Hidden Talent, this marks their 4th Championship in the last 6 years and their 5th trip to the Finals — another chapter added to one of the greatest runs in HITS history.

Now, the mountain gets even steeper.

With Championship No. 4, Hidden Talent is tied with Bingo’s All Stars and DDN/Sean Bell All Stars for the most Men’s Division championships in Hoops in the Sun history 👀

Three legendary programs. Four championships. One record.

The question now becomes…

In an epic Finals series that went to a deciding Game 3, it was Jahlil Owusu that carried TNG to the promised land to capture the 2026 High School Division Championship against the defending champion, Beyond Sports NYC!

Jahlil led the way with 18 points, 12 points coming in the second half.

There’s a NEW Champion at the top of the High School Division mountain at the beach! 🏖️

Hoops in the Sun proudly awards Noel Echevarria the 2026 Men’s College/Pro Division Regular Season MVP!

Noel averaged 22.0 ppg while leading Uptown Elite to the best record in the league.

His production, consistency, and leadership helped establish Uptown Elite as one of the teams to watch this season.

This MVP award was presented in loving memory of Kinu Rochford, honoring his legacy and keeping his name and spirit at the heart of Hoops in the Sun!

Uptown Elite made major strides this season, officially becoming a household name at the beach. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see what they bring back to Orchard Beach next season.
