An amazing opportunity meeting the legendary Angela Mao who is the iconic 1970s “Lady Kung Fu. One of the first female martial artists on the big screen. She worked with martial arts legends: Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Sammo Hung. The food was amazing as well. Highly recommend.

I had an amazing opportunity to visit Japan (thank you Rich). During that trip I was able to visit and train at different Dojos on mainland Japan and Okinawa. One of those amazing experiences was being able to visit the grave of the Motobu Family. Motobu Chōki founder of Motobu-Ryu and Motobu Udundi. Mutobu Udundi is a very special style which was taught solely to the imperial family and the imperial guard. I had an opportunity to train in this unique style in Okinawa. What makes it so special is that it is the only traditional karate style which includes sword as one of the Kobudō.
Chōki Motobu came to be regarded as the best in Okinawa in terms of practical karate techniques and full contact fighting.
It was an honor to be able to visit his gave and pay my respects.
