I am most proud, very thankful and extremely grateful to the USA and its people, coming from socialist Guyana where there is blatant racism and prejudice. There are still some countries where breakfast is mud, lunch is drainage water and there’s no dinner, be grateful my friends, very grateful. People from all over the world still look to the USA as the best place to live… Land of the Free, Home of the Brave. It’s a very powerful reminder of the freedoms we enjoy.
The US remains a land of opportunity where newcomers can start with nothing and succeed beyond their wildest dreams. We all pledged allegiance to this wonderful nation when we became US Citizens…be proud of what you’ve achieved, and show appreciation, respect and gratitude on this 250th Anniversary of Independence.
