This type-foundry started as a final MA project (June 2014). The first five font sketches were created whilst studying at UMPRUM in Prague.

Buckle up! For the first time, Displaay is not publishing a display typeface.
Instead, we are excited to offer designers a text typeface with a contrast axis: typewriter styles sit alongside a more antique-inspired form within a single typeface system. Beyond any screen use, from now on, we highly recommend setting books, newspapers, magazines, and any dangerously good projects in POST.

Meet Viktor Mizera: type designer, fashion enthusiast, dachshund dad, and one of the key people behind a lot of what happens at Displaay. Since joining the team in 2023, he’s had a hand in all kinds of projects, from retail releases to custom work. He loves digging into the technical side of type design, has a thing for collecting and archiving design treasures, and somehow still finds time for sports, board games, and tracking down his next great outfit.

Three years ago, around this time, we were sitting at UMPRUM, cheering on Viktor Mizera—another dear member of our team—as he defended his master’s thesis project, Post Antikva. Today, after three years of development and refinement, that project finally becomes Post.
