Sister Runs Marathon To Honor Sister 10/14/2012

In missing my sis Tara, it's been 3 years since she left us

Do to multiple injuries, I won't be running very many races, if any this year until i have everything taken care of; back & bi-lateral knee injures.
I will, however, be running, jogging, walking, bike riding, and swimming in order to stay in shape, as long as I am able...PLEASE KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS!

I'm going to San Francisco...my sister's favorite place, to run the marathon thanks to everyone who helped donate to get me there! I appreciate you all being so generous, especially in such financial times of difficulty. Thank you all so much!

Today would have been my sis's 31st birthday...I believe Christ sent this verse to me from her to help relieve me from the pain I am in. I will be running in her honor today in Middletown, NY: 17 North Street (4-mile race) ~~ Tara legs & God Speed

A co-worker shared with me yesterday that her mother who was diagnosed with breast cancer about a month ago just passed away yesterday...we have lost another precious person to this nasty ass disease! Prayers for the family of Viola Bautista ~ may she rest in peace ~ for she has entered rest in the Kingdom of the Lord, along with many others....dance with my sissy Viola :)

Tomorrow I will be running the Summer Solstice Run in 95 degree weather, which according to the news is supposed to feel like 110 degrees. This doesn't include humidity! Another one to add to the list of runs that Tara would be so proud of and now I can be praising God that she gave me the extra push to do!

So I have ran about 60 miles in the last 2 weeks. My fundraising is going well! Multiple checks came in the mail over the last week and a couple of cash donations! Thank you to everyone who donated online as well!
