My ‘M’s hair has been so long for so long!
Long struggles to wash and brush and care for these locks have occupied the better part part of 2 years! This spring ‘L got a cut that deemed her hair shorter than his.
And because he loved it long, we embraced it, but boy if we didn’t jump at the chance to rearrange our day when he decided it was time to cut it.
He washed it the night before the cut, I brushed it knowing that might be the last time I get to brush one of my kids’ hair…oof.
And I got 3 crosses of a braid in before he wiggled away. My love stamp captured mindfully.
A friend once said to me “motherhood is grief soaked with endings” and ever since then I’ve loved every possible last so furiously.
Hard times bring more than struggle though, when experienced with eyes and hearts wide open.
It is really the only way worthy of their presence

You *can’t* make women’s networking illegal.
There’s a lot happening in the world right now.
And if I’m honest, I take in just a little bit of it each day… for self-protection.
Because what I’m seeing—threats to women’s voices, to our rights, to our ability to gather—touches everything I care about.
Yesterday I hosted the first in-person workshop on Menstrual Cycle Awareness at .
It’s my flagship offering—The Cyclical Woman.
A space to begin practicing a different relationship with your body, and a threshold into the deeper work of Rhythm Woman.
My mom was there, bringing the crone energy.
Two seasoned practitioners, modeling what it looks like to live this work over time—while still growing, still sharing generously.
And two women newer to the practice, curious and fully in.
Layers in the room. You could feel it.
And in that space, I heard myself say:
No one can make women’s networking illegal.
Because women ourselves are networks.
This circle. This practice. This remembering.
We can’t do this work without each other.
Women have been gathering like this for generations.
In red tents. In quiet rooms. In ways that don’t always get named—but are deeply known.
And what I felt, more than anything, was this:
The network is alive.
It lives within us—our own inner resources, our rhythms, our bodies.
It lives between us—in connection, in witnessing, in shared experience.
It lives beyond us—in nature, in something ancient, something larger than us.
And no matter what’s happening out there…
this doesn’t disappear.
But it does ask something of us.
To stay.
To be brave.
To keep tending what matters—even in the face of overwhelm.
So today, I hold the power of yesterday’s circle, and the future ones to come. And these words:
“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.” — Audre Lorde
This is the work.
Personal. Collective. Ongoing.
And I’m grateful to be in it—as a practitioner, as a woman, with my mother, with my daughter,
with women everywhere.

This Spring I’m turning my focus to cultivating spaces where my flagship work can shine, where true wisdom can speak for itself, and where inner development and outer leadership evolve together.
The Cyclical Woman is one sprout of this unfolding.

As spring gently threatens with her slow pace, on brand, I find myself drawn to read about boys, men, masculinity and the conscious masculine...I work with women, mothers. And yet, there’s a spring with the masculine…like the robins outside my window I am listening.

I just bought used/like new white Nike high-tops to remind myself that the wisdom I hold today can ground me, and can be heard by my inner 6 yr old.
Love anchoring my practices with fashion and tangible reminders of what I’m intending.
