Taína became a 4-time Age-Group World Medalist with her WFS 68kg Bronze medal finish at the 2026 U20 World Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia. The Maryland-native lost a tough battle against Mansi Lather of India in her first match of the tournament, but entered the repechage after India made the finals. Taína stormed her way to Bronze, winning by 11-0 tech-fall over Leah Samsonsen of Norway before defeating Evangeliia Berezhnova of Russia 4-0 to win her 2nd UWW medal of the summer and 4th overall.
