Training doesn’t stop when we leave the water.
From land drills to water sessions, every rep, every stroke, every little adjustment adds up.
Putting in the work, building together, and getting stronger one practice at a time.
Land ➡️ Water ➡️ Repeat.

"XTREME!!!"
To hear our battlecry is to know who we are. But that doesn't mean we don't have fun!
We are Xtreme NY / Xtreme USA, Inc., a veteran team in Dragon Boat Racing. Our dragon boat crew came together in 1996, formed by a group of friends in New York City. Searching for an outlet for our irrepressible competitive spirit, we came together to test ourselves against the best in the competitions. Early every spring through fall, we can be found spending our weekend mornings practicing in a never ending struggle to improve. To be Xtreme means not only to

Four 500s?! We clearly didn’t get the memo to take it easy. 😂🚣♀️🔥
Back-to-back 500m races, and somehow we just kept finding more to give. 😮💨💪
So proud of everyone for not giving up. Instead, we kept digging deeper, pushing harder, and somehow finding MORE when we thought we had nothing left. 💪🔥
And the best part? We brought home 3rd place! 🥉
Huge thanks to our captain and coaches for keeping us motivated, pushing us, and believing in us—even when our bodies were clearly asking for a day off. 😂
Four 500s. One crazy team. Zero quit. 💙🚣♀️
What a race day to remember! 🥉🔥
See you next time, Hartford! We’re coming back stronger. 😉🔥

Trading paddles for fishing rods. 🎣
Sometimes the best team building happens off the water. Good company, fresh air, plenty of laughs, and a chance to recharge before the next challenge.
Back to racing soon. 🚣♀️💙
Stay hungry. Keep showing up. The rest will follow. 🚣♀️🔥
Today wasn’t just about the results—it was about believing in the work we’ve been putting in. We stayed focused, raced our own race, and finished strong.
That final race reminded us that the biggest battle is often mental. Believe in the process. Believe in your crew. Believe in the training.
Proud of this team and grateful to everyone who made today so rewarding. On to the next one. 💪🚣♀️
History made at Rockland! 🤙🏼 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Our 2K race was one for the books — 9:52 finish time, Xtreme’s first-ever sub-10 2K! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
This video captures the fight, the focus, and the heart of the crew as we battled down the course and made our move, passing two boats along the way.
This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of every teammate, the support of our entire crew, and the guidance and commitment of our coaches. Thank you for pushing us, believing in us, and helping us become better with every stroke.
Every practice, every challenge, and every sacrifice brought us to this moment.
This is only the beginning. The fire is lit. 🔥
Let’s go, Xtreme! 🚣

What a day at Rockland! 🚣🗽
During yesterday’s festival, we raced two 500m heats, one 200m sprint, and finished it all with the grueling 2K—going head-to-head with some of the strongest teams on the East Coast.
A huge shoutout to Lao Buddhist Temple of Denver Dragonboat Club. It was an absolute blast racing against you in the 2K—trading positions and pushing each other all the way to the finish. After battling it out on the water, it was awesome to exchange jerseys as a symbol of the respect and friendships that make this sport so special.
Days like this remind us why we train so hard. This is only the beginning of our journey, and there’s so much more ahead.
Keep the fire burning. Stay hungry. Let’s keep building.
Let’s go, Xtreme! 🚣🔥
This July 4th weekend, while many were celebrating with fireworks and time off, we chose to spend two days pushing ourselves to our limits.
More than 10K each day. Countless hard strokes. Tired bodies, sore muscles, and moments when we wanted to give up—but didn’t.
A heartfelt thank you to our captain. Thank you for believing in us, motivating us, and pushing us further than we thought we could go. The training was brutal, but your leadership reminded us that growth happens when we step outside our comfort zone and trust the process.
These weekends aren’t just about getting stronger physically. They’re about building resilience, trust, and a team that refuses to quit.
Exhausted. Grateful. Proud.
And we’re not done yet. 🚣♀️❤️🇺🇸
