Founded in the early 1960’s AAMRR was the club that laid the foundation for road racing on the east coast. Here’s a collection of rulebooks from the archive. Team Obsolete got it’s start racing AJS 7R, Matchless G50 and BSA triples with AAMRR when the bikes weren’t “vintage” they were just outdated. Arter Special MK1 powered by a Matchless G50 engine. Last ridden by Michelle Duff to celebrate the 50th anniversary of theCanadian GP at Mosport. This is the very same bike ridden in that hard fought race landing Duff with a podium finish in front of the home crowd. Considering the opposition was Giacomo Agostini (MV Agusta 500/3) and Mike Hailwood (Honda rc181) it certainly secured Michelle a spot as one of the legends of Canadian motorsport.
