Official page of Teach Me To Cry, a new play by William J. Schneider Tony is a tough guy with a checkered past from a traditional Italian family.
He is also in the advanced stages of AIDS. In the 1990s the only support system for people in Tony’s situation was the predominantly gay “Buddy System.” Edgar, an openly gay man, has just completed his buddy training. Will these two diametrically opposite men accept each other and ultimately themselves?
