Wild…I’ve taught more than 600 prenatal yoga classes & continue teaching virtually 3x a week 💕 Even wilder…the whole world changed less than 2 months after this post. https://muchheart.io/virtual-class-schedule

💗 Yes to representation, diversity and inclusivity! Absolutely. We need greater representation in our medical resources. Thank you, Chidiebere Ibe.
This illustration of a Black fetus stunned many because they had never seen one before Chidiebere Ibe, a Black medical student, wants to introduce more illustrations based on the Black community.
When a former prenatal yoga student calls me, actually calls me, to ask if I will teach a virtual prenatal yoga class, it’s very hard to say, no. Even if I am visiting family as I am now, I will try. Feeling gratitude for my parents’ unfinished basement turned home gym. It may not look like my home virtual studio or like the physical studio you’re familiar w/ but it doesn’t matter when connection is felt and the offering is authentic. Much 💗 to all
Sometimes, there can be years btwn wanting to receive something and being ready to receive something. Are you ready? It’s okay, too, if you’re not.

Laying it all down and offering up gratitude to God, the Divine, the Universe, the Source, that higher energy (whatever you call it) every day. Much 💗

This joyous space 💕 Much Heart LLC (aka Bethany, me) will be moving through sweet transition for the remainder of the year as I travel between NC, SC, MD & CA. It was bittersweet to break down & pack this small part of my soul this week. But, alas, nothing is permanent. I built this space in my garage a year ago so that I could continue teaching yoga (virtually) during the pandemic. Building this space and teaching online took me far outside of my comfort zone. I’ve deep love and pranams for all those who advised me on excellent technology, equipment, audio and visual guidance for filming live and teaching online. Every aspect of this home yoga studio was conceived w/ great humility, thought, care, love and most of all gratitude for my students past, present & future and my teachers past, present & future. When we relocated to NC almost 7 years ago, I never would have imagined I would be using the garage as a teaching space and teaching online during a global pandemic. No, it is not the same as an in-person experience, but we have found ways to make real connections via technology at this time. I welcome the transitions difficult and blissful. Grateful every day to be transitioning alongside, hand-in-hand w/ Aaron. I look forward to opportunities to teach yoga in a commercial studio again, but until then, this yogini will continue to be creative in ways to share the teachings w/ y’all. Much 💗 (p.s. I know statues of deities are not to sit on the ground. I apologize if it is offensive to anyone. The support I had under them wobbled on the mat, and I needed Durga and Hanuman w/ me. Nothing but respect for the archetypes and what they embody. Garage studios aren’t perfect and neither am I.)
Pro tip…sticking out your tongue when your body shakes during labor helps calm the shaking. It actually works! A L&D nurse shared this tip w/ me last wknd. So helpful, I wanted to share w/ everyone. Much 💗
Last year, I began introducing connection exercises to my doula clients and their partners during pregnancy to support emotional and physical grounding and emotional bonding. I’ve not seen anything like this before. Breathtaking.

The pandemic prevented me from meeting this magical tiny goddess before today. Seeing her mama and daddy and her (outside of her mama’s tummy) was pure joy.
PM me if you would like info for two reputable local organizations in India that are accepting donations to support their communities during this Covid crisis. One is in Delhi. The other is in Tamil Nadu.
