Pool season starts today in New York City. @nycmayor spent part of his morning in East Harlem at the Thomas Jefferson pool taking a plunge to remind us all that all New York City pools will be open for the summer through mid September. Here’s a list of the uptown pools along with their location and hours of operation: Jackie Robinson Recreation Center (Indoor) 85 Bradhurst Ave. Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM (Indoor recreation center). Outdoor pool (summer): Daily 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, with cleaning from 3:00–4:00 PM. Hansborough Recreation Center (Indoor) 35 W. 134th St. Currently closed for renovation. Check NYC Parks before visiting. Marcus Garvey Park Pool (Outdoor) Madison Ave & E. 124th St. Daily 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, with cleaning from 3:00–4:00 PM. Sheltering Arms Pool (Outdoor) Amsterdam Ave & W. 129th St. Hours: Daily 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, with cleaning from 3:00–4:00 PM.
