If you know Lauren, you know Texas has shaped so much of who she is, not just as a person, but as an artist.

Revisiting Sam & Robert’s engagement session in Austin felt especially meaningful. Creative, a little quirky, and always warm, Austin is full of character to say the least. It’s both a place that grounds Lauren and a place that continues to inspire her.

And now, after years away, Lauren is back to her Texas roots and calling Austin home. 🤍

It feels a bit like slipping back into a favorite pair of cowboy boots. Familiar, comfortable, and somehow even better with time.

With everything going on in the world, celebrating love can feel almost radical. At its core, a wedding is a group of people choosing connection. It’s optimism. It’s saying yes to the future, yes to each other, and yes to gathering the people you love in one place.

Jessica & Nick’s wedding felt like exactly that. Back home on the lake at Old North State Club, surrounded by their favorite people, the day felt effortless, intentional, and full of heart. No pressure to be anything other than what it was: a beautiful celebration of two people deeply in love.

A reminder that despite our different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, we all want many of the same things: connection, belonging, and moments worth celebrating.
