It’s World Cancer Day!
A day, no one ever wants to be part of.
If you’ve seen my stories you know the deal.
If you haven’t well here goes nothing…

October 2025 I was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma after having my uterus removed due to a big ol tumor. December 2025 I had a piece of my lung removed because it looked funny. Guess what, that was cancerous too. January 2026 I started chemo. 17 rounds, 4 hours once every 21 days for 51 weeks.

It’s a rare cancer & I’m an even rarer case. But guess what. I’m here & I intend on keeping it that way. Cancer fu**ed with the wrong bitch.

We don’t know why, who or where it will pop up in the body. I’ve been blessed with an incredible team at NYU Langone - Perlmutter Cancer Center and that I’m in a metro area where they’ve seen it all. But many if not most people don’t make it through because they don’t even know they have it.
