πŸ₯Ύ Another incredible backpacking adventure is in the books!

This past weekend, was our Backpacking Moderate Trip and this group took on a multi-night backpacking journey, stepping up to longer days on the trail, more challenging terrain, and even a little scrambling along the way.

A little rain couldn't slow this group down. They embraced every challenge with great attitudes, supported one another, and continued building the confidence and experience that will prepare them for even bigger adventures ahead.

Outstanding job, TrailBounders! We can't wait to see where your backpacking journey takes you next. πŸ’šπŸ•οΈ

🧭 Another fantastic Bushwhacking 1 course is in the books!

This past weekend, a great group of TrailBounders built upon the map and compass skills they had already learned by taking the next step into the world of off-trail navigation.

From navigating through the woods without established trails to gaining confidence in reading the terrain, everyone embraced the challenge with fantastic attitudes and a real eagerness to learn.

Bushwhacking offers a completely different way to experience the outdoors, and this group did an outstanding job taking the next step in their journey.

Awesome work, TrailBounders! We can't wait to see where your next off-trail adventure takes you. 🌲🧭

πŸ₯Ύ Another fantastic weekend in the books!

This past weekend marked our final Backpacking Easy Trip of the year, and what a great way to wrap it up.

With perfect weather, an incredible group of TrailBounders, and plenty of miles under full packs, everyone stepped up to the challenge and did an outstanding job.

After making our way into camp, we covered proper food hanging techniques, enjoyed a relaxing evening around the fire, watched a beautiful sunset, and wrapped up the trip with a great hike back out the next morning.

This course is an important stepping stone toward longer, multi-night backpacking adventures, and this group showed they're well on their way.

Awesome attitudes, great questions, and an eagerness to learn made this another memorable weekend.

Way to go, TrailBounders! πŸ’šπŸ₯Ύ

This past week's very first TrailBound Stargazing Weekend at Cherry Springs State Park is officially in the books, and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out! ✨🌌

As with any astronomy event, the weather is always the one thing you can't control. We watched the forecast all week and knew we'd have to take our chances. Fortunately, we were rewarded with a beautiful pocket of clearing just as we met up with our astronomers. We spent the evening looking through telescopes, learning about the night sky, and even caught several meteors streaking overhead!

While the clouds eventually rolled back in and shortened the program, many TrailBounders stayed up into the early morning hours and were treated to even more incredible views as the skies cleared again.

But you know what?

One of the biggest highlights of the trip wasn't the stars...

It was the people.

From setting up camp together and sharing meals to relaxing around the campground and simply enjoying each other's company, this trip reminded us that some of the best TrailBound memories happen when we slow down and appreciate the moment.

Not every adventure has to be about pushing miles, climbing mountains, or learning new skills. Sometimes it's about gathering around a campsite, looking up at the night sky, and spending time with an incredible community of people who love the outdoors.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our very first Stargazing Weekend such a memorable experience.

Based on all the smiles and feedback, we're pretty sure this won't be our last. πŸ’šπŸŒ

🌎 Big things are coming to TrailBound Project!

We're excited to officially share the first look at our 2027 destination adventure lineup!

While there are still a few details to finalize, we're ready to start giving everyone a glimpse of what's ahead.

Here's what 2027 is shaping up to look like:

❄️ March 3–7
Adirondack Winter Adventure School
β€’ Includes a full day at the Olympic Ski Jump Complex learning ice axe and crampon techniques, plus two full days of winter hiking.

🏜️ April 24–29
Zion National Park & Bryce Canyon National Park

🌲 July 10–15
Great Smoky Mountains National Park

⛰️ July 26–29
Adirondack High Peaks

πŸ‚ October 23–26
Adirondack High Peaks (Fall)

For both Adirondack High Peaks trips, we'll be offering two enrollment options. Everyone will stay together, enjoy breakfast and dinner together, and be part of the same TrailBound experience, while choosing either a more challenging High Peaks itinerary or an easier adventure based on their goals and experience.

🏞️ And our Women's Chapter is already eyeing up New River Gorge National Park!

This year, we're doing things a little differently.

Rather than opening registration for every destination trip at the same time, we'll be releasing them one at a time throughout the coming months. That gives everyone more time to research each adventure, plan ahead, and get excited for what's coming.

We'll also have each trip page available on our website well before registration opens, including itineraries, pricing, lodging, FAQs, and everything you'll need to know.

πŸ“¬ Want the best chance at securing a spot?

Our TrailBounders will receive advance notice of the exact registration launch dates and times before they're announced publicly. Many of these adventures have limited availability, so don't miss your opportunity to be among the first to register.

If you're not already a TrailBounder, head over to our website, click "Become a TrailBounder" right on the homepage, and join our newsletter to stay up to date on everything coming in 2027.

We can't wait to share these adventures with all of you. Here's to another incredible year of learning, exploring, and building confidence together.
