Congratulations to Holy Cross Tigers Anthony Lopiccolo ’31, Dimitrios Petikas ’31, and Cayden Rodrigue ’31, along with their Eastbank Little League 13U teammates, on earning the opportunity to compete in the Little League Intermediate World Series in Livermore, California!

After an incredible journey to get here, these young men will now play on the international stage. Games begin next Monday and will be televised on ESPN+ and across the ESPN family of networks.

Good luck, boys! Your entire Holy Cross family will be cheering you on every step of the way. Bring it home! 🏆

Congratulations to Holy Cross alumnus Dominic Pellegrin ’26 on being selected by the Detroit Detroit Tigers with the 125th overall pick in the 4th round of the 2026 MLB Draft!

The standout shortstop is taking his talents to Detroit, proving that once you’re a Tiger, you’re always a Tiger.

The future is bright, Dominic. Congratulations on this well-earned milestone. Our Holy Cross School community couldn’t be more proud, and we can’t wait to watch your professional career begin!

Today marks 250 years of our United States of America. The Congregation of Holy Cross has been woven into the fabric of our country for 177 of those 250 years. As we celebrate this day, we remember all who have gone before us and helped to shape this great country and the legacies we continue to build today. Most important, we continue to offer our thanksgiving to God as we remember, “All the nations you have made shall come to bow before you, Lord, and give honor to your name. For you are great and do wondrous deeds; and you alone are God” (Psalm 86:9-10).

We pray that you and your families have a safe and enjoyable 4th of July, and we continue to hold each of you in prayer during our summer break. As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we invite you all to take a moment and join us in prayer for our country.

ICYMI: Senior Savoy Guidry was spotlighted recently. We are looking forward to another great school year and cheering on our Tigers, both in the classroom and on the field.

Holy Cross has a Stanford-bound defensive back who learned to let his play do the talking Savoy Guidry used to run his mouth as fast as the wide receivers he practiced against — back when he was a freshman.

Regionals Runner-Up 🥈

Holy Cross Golf showed up in a big way, finishing as Regional Runner-Up, led by Fulton Pigeon who brought home Individual 1st place with a 74 (+2).

Next stop: State Championship.

Congratulations to the Holy Cross golf team on a hard-fought 159–161 victory over Brother Martin. The Tigers were led by 8th grader Brandon Fuselier’s even-par 36, continuing to set the tone for the squad.

With the win, the team improves to 4–1 this spring and looks ahead to Thursday, March 26 as they take on St. Augustine and Joseph Bartholomew.
