🌕✨ FULL MOON + LUNAR ECLIPSE IN PISCES ✨🌕
Well…apparently the Universe decided August needed one more grand finale. 😂🌕💫
Tonight's Full Moon in dreamy, intuitive Pisces arrives with a powerful partial lunar eclipse — inviting us to release what we've outgrown, soften our grip on what we can't control, and make room for whatever wants to emerge next.
And with Mercury meeting the Sun in Virgo today — a Mercury cazimi — there's an interesting cosmic conversation happening:
🌊 Pisces says: Feel it. Trust it. Surrender it.
🌿 Virgo says: Notice it. Understand it. Clear it out.
Maybe we don't need to figure everything out tonight.
Maybe the invitation is simply to notice what feels complete…and let it go. 💫
Take a breath.
Unclench your jaw.
Drop your shoulders.
Feel your feet beneath you.
✨ Release. Reset. Receive.
Because sometimes reclaiming your power isn't about doing more.
It's about finally putting down what you were never meant to keep carrying. 🌕💜

Tonight’s Nashville sky felt a little different. 🌅💗
As I walked out of work and saw that beautiful pink glow stretching across the horizon, I couldn’t help but think…
Even the heavens are lighting up for Dolly. ✨💖
What an extraordinary reminder of just how much light one beautiful soul can leave behind.
Keep shining, Dolly. 🌟🦋💗

✨ Well…apparently you CAN teach an old yogi new tricks! 😂🧘♀️🌙
I’ve been sitting on some happy news for a couple of days, and today feels like the perfect time to finally share it…
I’m officially a certified Yoga Nidra teacher! 🎉💜
After completing my 40-hour Yoga Nidra Teacher Training — Waking Up With the Yoga of Sleep — with the wonderful Scott Moore, my certificate has arrived! 🙌
Scott’s passion for Yoga Nidra is contagious, but what impressed me most was the incredible depth of knowledge he shared about making this powerful practice accessible to everyBODY. ❤️
Yoga Nidra doesn’t require flexibility, fancy poses, or even getting down on the floor. It can be practiced lying on a mat, in bed, sitting in a chair — and it can be 5 minutes in duration, or a much longer 45-60 minute journey.
That makes my heart VERY happy. 💛
What drew me to Yoga Nidra goes far beyond relaxation. This beautiful practice offers another way to help calm the nervous system, quiet the busy brain, and create space for deep rest and restoration — all things I believe we need more of at EVERY age. 🧠💫
I’m especially passionate about exploring ways to bring this practice to the older adults I work with — including people who would never consider attending a traditional yoga class but can absolutely benefit from moments of stillness, sensory awareness, and deep relaxation. 🪑💜
Small doses. Longer journeys. Chair. Floor. Bed.
Meet people where they are. 🙏
And the really exciting part?
I’ll be teaching my first Yoga Nidra class this fall! 🥰
At 67, I’m still learning, still growing, still EXPANDING…and still finding new ways to help people feel better in their bodies and more at home within themselves.
Turns out there’s no expiration date on becoming a beginner again. 💜
Here’s to continuing to learn, continuing to evolve…and maybe even taking a really fabulous nap along the way. 😂😴✨

🎂🤘 Happy Birthday to Gene Simmons of KISS! 🤘🎂
After a rather emotional day, I think we need a little rock & roll levity — so here’s a story from my WLOL radio days that still makes me laugh. 😂
KISS was coming by the station to promote a new album, and before they arrived, the record label rep pulled me aside with a little warning:
Apparently, Mr. Simmons had a habit of surprising female radio folks by sticking his famous tongue in their ear just as the photo was being taken. 😳👅👂
Ummm…NO. 😂
I informed the rep that if that was Gene’s plan, there would be NO PHOTO. Please relay the message. 🤣
Message received.
Gene behaved himself, I got this fabulous photo with the guys…and my ear remained completely dry. 😂😂😂
Another wonderfully ridiculous memory from a career that gave me more stories than I ever could have imagined.
Happy Birthday, Gene! 🎉🤘
And thank you for respecting the ear. 😂

💔 Some people leave an impression that lasts far longer than a photograph ever could.
Like so many people today, I’m heartbroken by the news of Dolly Parton’s passing. And it brought back a memory I haven’t shared very often.
During my years in the music industry, I was incredibly fortunate to meet many legendary artists. Dolly was one of them. 💖
I don’t have a photograph of us together. But nearly 30 years later, I remember exactly how she made me feel.
It was August 1998, when I was living in Los Angeles and working for Decca Records. Dolly was promoting her new album, Hungry Again, and I had the privilege of being there when she sat down with Blair Garner for an interview on his nationally syndicated After MidNite radio show.
I remember sitting there watching the two of them talk and being completely taken by her.
She was warm. Gracious. Engaging. Funny. Kind.
There was nothing manufactured about it. The Dolly the world knew and loved seemed to be exactly the Dolly sitting in that room. 💗
The following day, I was fortunate enough to be in the audience when she appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and performed “Honky Tonk Songs.”
And here’s something I discovered today that stopped me in my tracks:
✨ Hungry Again was released on August 25, 1998 — exactly 28 years ago today.
Of all the memories I could have carried away from those days, what stayed with me wasn’t her fame, the television appearance, or even that unmistakable voice.
It was her kindness.
And perhaps that is one of the greatest measures of a life well lived: how people felt simply because they had the privilege of being in your presence.
The quote in this photo feels especially meaningful today:
“If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, then, you are an excellent leader.”
Dolly certainly did all of that — and so much more. 💖
Thank you for the music, the laughter, the generosity, the authenticity, and the enormous heart you shared with the world.
Rest well, Dolly. Your legacy will keep inspiring us to dream more. 🦋💗✨

🌿 A Soft Sunday at Radnor Lake 🌿
For the first couple of miles this morning, Radnor was unusually quiet. Apparently, the wildlife decided to sleep in. 😂
But eventually…there they were. Herons, birds perched high above the lake, and one sweet deer peeking through the greenery as if to say, “Okay, okay…we’re up!” 🦌🪶💚
Three peaceful miles surrounded by trees, water, fresh air, and some of my favorite Radnor residents. Not exactly a lazy Sunday…but definitely a slower, softer one.

✨ August 21 — National Senior Citizens Day ✨
I’ll admit it: I still don’t love the term “senior citizen.” 😎
Because after another year of teaching my signature Body Balance & Strength classes and Chair Yoga to some pretty extraordinary humans in their 70s, 80s, and 90s, I’ve learned something:
A birth certificate tells me how long you’ve been here. It does NOT tell me what you’re capable of. 💪✨
Every week, I watch people show up ready to move, learn, laugh, get stronger, challenge themselves, and stay fully engaged with life. They remind me that aging doesn’t have to mean becoming less.
We can become stronger. Wiser. Braver. More curious. More playful. More joyful. And maybe even a little more rebellious. 👑
So yes, I’ll take the senior discount. 😂
But I’m much more interested in being a Queenager — rewriting the rules of aging and showing the world that there is no expiration date on strength, purpose, possibility, or FUN.
Here’s to growing older boldly, joyfully, and unapologetically. 💚
We’re not aging out of life. We’re aging INTO it. ✨
