One of the greatest gifts given to mankind is the ability to sit before the Lord and hear His heart for you.

We live in a culture that never stops — noisy, busy, constantly pulling our attention in every direction. Culture screams at us about who we are and how we need to respond to our circumstances.

But instead of running to call others or opening ChatGPT to hear what they say about you, run to His feet. Go to your prayer closet and hear what He has to say about your situation. Hear what He says about who you are.

Community matters. Reaching out to friends who remind you of your identity is so important, I’m not dismissing that. But there’s something irreplaceable about sitting in stillness before the Lord and letting Him be the loudest voice in the room.

In a world that never stops talking, learn to sit at His feet first.

Have you ever been in a season of transition
where things are shifting, doors are closing, and you don’t know which step to take next? No left. No right. Just… uncertainty.

I’ve been there.
Honestly, I’m there right now.

It’s so easy in those moments to run, strive, and try to figure everything out on our own. But there’s something so beautiful about an all-knowing God, He already sees what we can’t. He knows what’s next. He knows what the next five years hold.

Our role isn’t to have all the answers.
It’s to become like children again, holding our Father’s hand and letting Him lead.

This life isn’t our own.

And when doors close, it’s okay to grieve. It’s okay to feel the weight of disappointment. But don’t stay there. Lift your head. Dust yourself off. Remember who you are and remember who He is.

Put on your shoes.
And walk with Him.

Things don’t happen to you.
They happen for you.

Hey Akouō,
It’s been a minute…

There are a few new faces here, so I wanted to introduce myself. I’m Tammy, the founder of Akouō Women’s Collective. I started this business and page a year ago, and during that time I faced an injury that really shook my world but I didn’t let it hinder me. I created Akouō, started my coaching business, and dreamt with God, partnering with Him to share my story and help other women break the toxic cycles that keep them stuck.

In 2025, I worked with women and got to see firsthand the breakthrough they so desperately wanted, watching them walk fully in their identity, in wholeness, and find healthy, godly relationships was so powerful to see.

In October, I had to put my coaching on hold to care for my health and had to have a 3rd surgery in December.

I’m happy to say that I’m back. I’m taking on more clients for one-on-one coaching and will be hosting events, prayer nights, and creating spaces to build community. This isn’t just for Nashville—it’s worldwide!

I’m excited for all that God wants to do this year in 2026, and I am so grateful that you’re here. 🫶🏼
