A gentle but steady fkt set today on the John Muir trail in the Big South Fork. We got lost a 100 times but of well - David Compton and Dan Albert- Compton got lost from Dan and I and didn’t get to finish but he had a good time!

Little early morning run with Koah followed by a lot of trail clearing at Caney Fork.thank god for this brush cutter I got for the atv. Makes something that takes hours into mins.

413 Acres Added to Scott's Gulf Wilderness State Park! 🎉
TennGreen Land Conservancy, The Nature Conservancy in Tennessee, and The Conservation Fund have transferred more than 400 acres of forest, farmland, and critical waterways abutting Lost Creek and Dry Creek to the State of Tennessee.
The land will now be managed as part of Scott’s Gulf Wilderness State Park, strengthening one of Tennessee's premier wilderness destinations while enhancing opportunities for both conservation and outdoor recreation.
This success adds to TennGreen’s legacy of protection that includes Virgin Falls and other beloved, vital keystones of the region.
