When you're out on the grid for the Fool's Gold Rally, you aren't just driving on random asphalt—you’re tackling routes carved out over a century ago.
Take Tennessee State Route 70, a gorgeous, twisting asphalt ribbon cutting right through East Tennessee on our 2027 loop. Long before it was officially stamped as SR 70 back in October 1923, these mountain passes started as historic pioneer tracks and stagecoach paths.
Today, it’s one of the best-kept secrets in the state: pure, winding backroads, zero interstate monotony, and views of the Cumberland and Smoky Mountains that were practically built for rolling shots.
We’re built for people who love to drive, and roads like SR 70 are exactly why we do this.
